"Happiness is a serious matter and it is what we should be trying to promote in the world. Being happy can be seriously good for you, your community and probably the planet too" - Nic Marks
On 19thth January 2012 Nic Marks - one of the UK's leading experts on well-being - spoke to a packed out audience in London for the first Action for Happiness event of the new year.
Nic looked at how we can create a happier and more sustainable future, from measuring wellbeing to the politics of happiness to actions we can take in our lives and communities. Ultimately he showed why we have cause to be hopeful despite the many serious challenges we face in the world.
Below are a set of videos from the event for those who couldn't make it.
